Celebrate the leaders and champions of the LGBTQ+ community at the Twin Cities Pride Grand Marshal Reception. Join for an evening of recognition and inspiration as we honor our Grand Marshal of the year and present our Community Awards to those making a difference.
This year Minnesota Governor Tim Walz will serve as the 2025 Twin Cities Pride Grand Marshal.
A lifelong advocate for equality, Governor Walz has demonstrated unwavering support for the LGBTQ+ community throughout his career—from his days as a high school teacher helping launch one of Minnesota’s first Gay-Straight Alliances, to his groundbreaking leadership as governor, signing laws protecting gender-affirming care and banning conversion therapy as governor.
Governor Walz embodies the belief that everyone deserves to live with dignity, safety, and pride. Please join us in honoring Governor Tim Walz—an educator, a leader, an advocate, and a true ally.

The theme for the evening is ‘A Kaleidoscope of Colors.‘ Embrace the vibrancy of our community in cocktail attire, and feel free to express your creativity by dressing on theme. Let’s paint the night with every shade of the rainbow!
