For nearly two decades we’ve been enjoying our “retail reporters” on the radio every Saturday. Allison Kaplan alongside her mom Harmony make up The Shop Girls where they talk fashion trends, celebrity brands, local deals and more. Harmony’s Tech Report is a highlight of every weekend! As is Ali’s amusement at hearing her mom give those tech reports. Besides just insider info on the retail world and everything trendy, they bring laughter, lightness and a chemistry that only a mother-daughter duo could cook up. We appreciate the banter they’ve brought into our cars and homes, and the hot tips on great deals and new places to check out that they’ve provided us over all these years.

Sadly all good things must end and after nearly 20 years of the Shop Girls we are saying goodbye. Instead of talking shopping, Ali & Harmony will now have more time on Saturdays to actually GO shopping and snag those deals they’re always telling us about for themselves.

Please join us in person at Galleria Edina on November 29th from 11am – 1pm to make Shop Small Saturday into a BIG goodbye party for their final broadcast. It’s our Shop Girls Send-Off and it’ll be our kick-off to myTalk’s Santa Project so bring a gift donation for kids and families staying at the Ronald McDonald House over the holidays. And come bid farewell to our Shop Girls – Ali & Harmony!

We love you two and we’re sure gonna miss you around here!
