It’s the season when the nights get dark early, we start to see holiday lights popping up on houses and if you hear Christmas music you either love it or roll your eyes thinking it’s still a little too early for that. We’re one week away from Thanksgiving which is a holiday when we eat to the max. It’s also the season of generosity in Minnesota when we Give to the Max!

This year we’ve partnered with Second Harvest Heartland and Hy-Vee to host a food drive for families facing food insecurity. There are a multitude of factors that makes the need to feed our neighbors greater than ever right now. So we’re rallying our myTalk community to help us put food on the table.

Right now you can make a donation through our myTalk Food for Families GiveMN fundraiser and Second Harvest Heartland will be able to stretch each dollar donated into 3 meals! We’ll also be out at our Hy-Vee partner locations in New Hope and Maplewood on Friday, November 21st from 6am to 6pm broadcasting live and trying to fill two trucks with food donations for Second Harvest Heartland to disperse to our Minnesota community.
